Tried to observe Cow (my dog) today but failed to.... All he does today is sleep!
He is back to that mode as of now, while I'm blogging about him.

Yesterday was the last lecture given by Dr. Saga, topic; Pet Health and Care. As expected, he brought more pets to show us! Some of the animals are...

Gosh, I can't stand it! Its so ewh.....

I so want one!!! But I already have a dog....

Do you know that if we do not interigate the tarancula, as a matter a fact any animal, it would not strick us at all? However if u do, it will firstly give you a warning by levelling up its body a bit, then higher (more interigations) and finally it would expend its fangs to bite you! Do not blame them if they do bite you! So think twice before you irritate them...

*Leopard Cat*
(I've mentioned this) This poor cat got its head caught in the cage while its body is outside the cage.
What happened to its body? Well, it got eaten by God knows what...

I'm pretty sure you know this.

* Heartworm*
This type of worm is can be found in your dog's heart (Heartworm Disease)!
It is transmitted by mosquitos. This is how it all happens...
Larvae penetrate skin ->migrate through the tissues -> reach the heart (after a few months of development).
It can cause significant damage to the heart, lungs and other vital organs,
left untreated will result in death.
Hurry and bring your dog for a check up! Better to be SAFE than SORRY!

Awesome Lecture

The day begun with Emotions and Motivation quiz! Though I did studied but... nothing went into my brain!!! The quiz was fun, since its multiple choice. As expected that not many people show up for lecture today (told you so Kar Yee). We are divided into five groups of eight. I was in Group 2... Everyone chipped in RM 1 for the monetary prize and our lecturers chipped in RM5 each.

At first the quiz seems boring, but as it went on, both the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th groups' scoring were getting close to one another. In the end, only the 1st and 2nd group were competing for the monetary prize. A tie breaker questions were asked, but still it was a tie! Since lunch time is 5 minutes away, both the teams called it a tie, so... We shared the money. Each of us got like RM 3.50. Well, to me its not bad....At least I got to eat Fruit Rojak free!

But during the quiz, I'm actually really annoyed by something. So wish that I could slap that annoying thing!!!

Next, my most favourite lecture... Pet Behavioural Studies!!!! The one and only lecture that I looked forward to every lectures day!!! Today, we have a guest speaker named Dr. Saga. He introduced himself and told us bout all the exotic pets that he owned! He also have collected leopard skull! Even brought a frog, and a hermit crab. Ooh...not forgetting a turtle too!!!

We also heard lots of funny stories from him... but its also a bit sad though... One that I remembered is that he was observing a butterfly for his assignment. So after he is done with it, he let it go. While in that process, a bird conveniently came and .... Bye-bye BUTTERFLY!

But the best one was the way chemicals were tested on cockroach to see its effectiveness. According to him, those lab people, when testing the chemicals, the cockroach must die on its back, legs facing upwards and struggling. So that consumers will buy the product. The consumers wants to see the cockroach suffer to make sure its dead, if the cockroach die facing the floor then the consumers will not be satisfy and they will not buy that chemical....

Gosh...Consumers nowadays!

He also told us an incident that happened three years ago in college, staffs' room. A Paradise tree snake actually went into the air conditioner and fell down on an employee's table. So as expected everyone was screaming and they killed it!!! But that snake its actually a really rare species and its really beautiful and colourful as well!!! Such a waste! And just this morning, there was a cat that accidentally went into the building, staffs were chasing it off. And this species of cat is also rare! Luckily, they let it go!!!

I have no idea what the hell is wrong with Archshanaa!!! The moment she saw me today, she started again! She kept picking on me!!! My anxiety level shoot up straight away!!! Gosh!!! I need to groom myself more!!!

CRAZINESS!!!

The craziness started in gym. Early in the morning, bumped into this two Koreans. One of them is super energetic, ran around the ladies' gym room and did all the exaggerated moves. Haihz, where the hell she get the energy from? Then later bumped into this whole group of Koreans in Asian Avenue. They all looked surprised to find Korean food there! And I thought KY, Aliza and me were the 'sampats'!

Today was super hot in the afternoon, so we (KY, Aliza, Archshanaa and me) went to the library. From the moment all of us sat down, Archshanaa started to bombard me! Everything I did, she commented! Haihz... Thought that was her hormones talking since she is 'flowing' but turns out to be not! It stopped for a moment but...

About an hour later, we shifted table, where there are more plugs available, there she goes again! Not only she is being annoying but she started to be crazy and high!!! Out of nowhere, she asked the guy who sat next to her to help fill up a survey form without introducing herself, till KY told her. Not only she intro herself after that, but the rest of us too. And I'm pretty sure that guy gave her a weird look.

Then, we started debating who is being bitch-ifying, me or her. "Arch is being bitch-ifying every day" (Aliza,2010). Everyone just burst out laughing! Arch, randomly gave permission for the guy to laugh. I'm pretty sure he gave her weird look and everyone laughed even harder. Arch justified it as stress, she needs to release it.

So out of nowhere, KY took out her hairbrush and handed it to Arch. So I asked her, is she a cat, or a dog? Since, these animals groomed themselves when they are frustrated or is experiencing high level of anxiety. This is how she answered,

"I'm a rodent!".

At this moment, not only all of us laughed but the guy as well, Finally, he could not hold it any longer... He was laughing with all of us!!! See! This is the impression he has of psycho students; CRAZY! Thanks to Archshanaa! I think he would remember us whenever he sees us around the campus!

But this Craziness does not stop here. On the way home, OH MY GOODNESS!!! Kar Yee was so high and crazy!!! I think it's because of the Choco Cheese Cake she ate.

She is not only talking to her car and herself but she is also scolding other drivers and motorcyclists. And she kept talking nonsense! Laughing out of nowhere, non-stop! When I told her other road users may think she is crazy, she laughed even harder!I think in that one hour, I've asked her about 100 times,

"Do you want your hairbrush now?".

Yup, my friends started grooming themselves from the moment they found out that cats, dogs and rodents groomed themselves when they are frustrated or experiencing high level of anxiety. So to release stress, they all started to groom themselves like these animals!!!

I think at this moment, she might be grooming herself!

P/S: I think we broke almost all the library rules today....

1. Me shouted (according to them)
2. We ate in the library, in a very exposed area.
3. We made lots of noise

I hope the guy is not traumatized by us!

I'm sorry for our crazy behaviour, but one thing you should know is that almost the
whole Batch 11 of Psychology behave this way! It's our signature behaviour!

Sleepy!!!!

It's 8.23 a.m. and I'm super sleepy! In class waiting for the rest to come so can start our research. Its raining outside, with the nice and comfy chair I'm sitting on plus with A.C. ... I wanna sleep!!!! But I slept early yesterday, around 12 a.m. so I should not be tired and sleepy... Thank goodness its only 1 1/2 hours of tutorial. So so so sleepy....

Full House

This is my first visit to Full House. The decoration of this restaurant is homey and also comfortable. Everything in this particular restaurant is for sale and they have a little boutique at the end of the restaurant, every clothing, accessories, shoes and bags are imported from Korea itself.This restaurant is originated from the highly popular Korean drama series named Full House staring Jeong Ji Hoon (Rain) and Song Hye Won (crazy, right? but its profitable). These are some of the sets they served. Looked delicious? Well, it tastes extremely delicious!!!

It tasted very mushroom-ish. You can actually taste the mushroom. The mushrooms are finely chopped but you still can bite some mushroom and almond flakes are also added into the sup. The taste is different from any kind of mushroom sup.

It's mushroom-chicken ham spaghetti. The dish may look dry to you, but actually it's not. The sauce tasted spicy-creamy, which is a great taste especially for people like me who like spicy dish.
The spiciness goes really well with the speghetti together with the mushrooms and ham.... ah! So delicious!

*Pandan and Strawberry-yogurt cake*
Pandan: Taste? Good (Aliza, 2010). But one thing I know is that, this cake is topped with coconut
flakes.
Strawberry-yogurt: AMAZING!!! The strawberry tasted just right not too sweet and the portion of the yogurt and chocolate layers are balanced. One word, SUPERB!!!

Every set lunch comes with a drink, main course, a bowl of sup and of course dessert. It's starts from 12 p.m. till 4 p.m. I personally have not come across any restaurant that serve this kind of set lunch!I'm quite surprise myself and not to mention the price is very reasonable! Both these sets only cost RM 16.90 each!

They also sell the dessert separately. One piece cost RM 2.50, half a dozen cost about RM 13 and a dozen cost about RM 24 or less.

*Highly recommended dessert: Lemon tart. The cream blends very well with the lemon paste, giving you both the sweet and sour taste!

Paranormal Activity

Second day of uni (12/01), tutorial ended at 10.30 a.m. By the time we (sampat, bai zhi and me) reached pyramid, we are all hungry. Thus, sampat lose the motivation for gym. We ate at this newly open Korean shop, near Pizza Hut. The dishes there are not bad. The Kimchi is ok but the one in Asian Avenue tasted batter. I ordered Bim Bi Gak Su? (not sure with the name), it taste pretty sweet though it suppose to be spicy according to the description.

Then, me and Aliza watched Paranormal Activity. The first part of the movie was kinda boring. The fun begins when the footprints of the demon appeared. OMG, then the girl got dragged into another room, being possessed by the demon (she practically stood next to the bed and stared at her boyfriend sleeping for hours)! But the best part was the end of the movie, where she was possessed again by the demon, stood and stared at her boyfriend sleeping (this time right next to him). Then started walking the downstairs, sudden scream, boyfriend woke up and quickly ran downstairs. Amazingly, the screaming stopped for awhile, then there are footsteps of the demon walking up the stairs. Suddenly, a big thing is being thrown at the camera. Guess who?!

The boyfriend died, the girlfriend threw him towards that direction! She then started sniffling the body, like how tigers sniff their prey! I'm pretty sure you get the idea of what comes next...


The movie was great! The effects was great!I sorta regret watching it. I'm currently experiencing the after-effect!

Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010!

Happy New Year to all!!! Finally 2010 is here and hopefully this year is a great one for everyone. Well, for me especially. I hope that I would be able to pass all my exams this year and successfully make it to the second semester. Though me myself aren't so sure that I would be able to but ... no harm hoping right?!

Looking back now, it seems like 2009 is just a dream to me. Got both Ms. Janie and Ms. Evelyn as lectures in my final semester in CIMP, got freaked out by both lecturers. One seems to act like a tiger (first lecture) but turn out to be childish at times, the other loves to make cold jokes. Funny how both of them are labelled as the toughest lecturers in CIMP, or at least in the subjects they teach. Gosh I miss CIMP so much, looked forward to OB every single study day. Love watch The Apprentice during OB class.

Here comes the partying part. I don't partying much. But I really had a good time hanging out with Sheena and the gang, Yin, Darcy... but mostly with Sheena and the gang, and of course with Yin too! I'm happy I've made great friends through CIMP. There are somethings that I can do with Sheena and all but never with Darcy and all except for Aliza and Yin. Mainly its because Darcy, Zaleha... don't party or rather couldn't hang out till late. Even so, I still enjoyed my time with them especially Tracy! In accounting class... though there are lots of stress and I asked stupid questions most of the time but I feel happy and relax around her... Gosh I so miss her now.

Then came graduation... that I don't wanna talk... It sound so depressing talking bout it.

'Time flies when you are having fun'; this is so true! Two months later, I'm back in Sunway studying Psychology. Though I'm a bit disappointed with one of my lecturers but I hope she improves next semester or I'll... die? Or end up in the Psychiatric hospital? Well, makes no difference. I'm half way towards both anyway, since I've started college. Met lots of fun and not to mention CRAZY people here. There are one or two weird ones as well, weird and scary... Lectures??? There are good ones and bad ones... I love Intro to Psy, though I had a hard time studying/ memorising it. The one subject that I really did not like is Research, not because of the syllabus but due to a certain someone. Despite so, I had a hard time revising all the subjects. Mainly, its because I can't seem to focus while studying. I'm worrying about time management, lack of motivation, loss of direction, and its also because my favourite band is in trouble, they are on the verge of disbanding! Tell me how the hell can I focus?! Through out exam I was wondering am I even human? Why the hell am I worrying the band instead of myself?! Finally, I know that I'm normal when I was entering the exam hall for Psy. My heart beat like its never function for a very long time!

After, about two to three weeks of suspense. Finally, no calls at all from Sunway. Which literally meant I passed all my papers, though I know its not with flying colours. I'm happy I've passed due to my laziness during the study period/ week.

My goodness, Charis! What a year?!

This year is gonna be better especially this coming sem. Its gonna be so different! We are gonna be merged with our seniors, hopefully I get good ones when it comes to group work/projects. I can't take it if I'm grouped with people who aren't a team player. I think at that point I might actually jump off the 4th floor.

I also hope everything is gonna be great for DBSK! No more mess, no more disbanding rumours, no more awkwardness on stage, but most of all, I hope they are all able to SMILE and greet us truly on the stage, the place where they are admired by many, a place where they are truly DBSK!
